YARN
My tiger scarf is knitted in the same weight of yarn as project 1, the phone cosy. You could use a same brand or try a new one. Maybe you'd like to try a different mix of fibres! You'll need yarn with a tension of 8 stitches x 12 rows = 10cm. Using a super chunky yarn with a different tension will change the finished size but won't ruin the project!

RECOMMENDED YARN

  • Plymouth Yarn - Encore Mega super chunky yarn. This is an 100g ball with 59m (65 yds) per ball. The yarn is made of acrylic (75%), superwash wool (25%). You'll need three balls of the main colour (orange), one ball of black and one ball of cream.

ALTERNATIVE YARNS
Scheepjes - Roma Big super chunky yarn.  This is a 200g ball with 120m (131 yds) per ball. The yarn is 100% acrylic. You'll only need one ball of main colour (M) instead of two, but you will still need one ball of black and one ball of cream

Patons - Big Fab super chunky yarn. This is a 220g ball with 132m (144 yds) per ball. This yarn is 100% acrylic. You'll only need one ball of M instead of two, but you will still need one ball of black and one ball of cream.
